Design and Features
The lens barrel is compact, of moderate weight, made of high-quality plastic. The lens mount is metallic.
The lens lacks focusing mode switch, therefore you have to set the automatic or manual focus mode from the camera. Full-Time Manual Focus is not available.
- The autofocus will not be available with Nikon D40, D40X, D60, D3000-D3400, D5000-D5600 SLR cameras.
The lens incorporates a floating system that provides correction of aberrations and ensures constantly high image quality at the entire range of focusing distances from infinity down to the closest focusing distance. Learn more
