Design and Features
The lens can be tilted up to +/-7.5 degrees and shifted up to +/-12 mm. The tilt and shift functions can be used singly or in combination. The lens can be rotated through +/-90 degrees with click stops at every 30 degrees to change tilt or shift direction; tilt function rotates 90 degrees left with click stop at 45 degrees which allows to set the direction of tilt function parallel or perpendicular to shift. Shift function no longer requires locking and unlocking.
Due to the prominent convex profile of the front element the lens does not have a filter thread.
A fluorine coating has been applied to the outer surface of the front lens element to repel particles of dust, water or oil drops for easier cleaning of the lens surface.
