The updated version with improved optical design.
The lens barrel is of moderate weight, made of high-quality plastic. The lens mount is metallic.
Focusing must be performed manually using the focusing ring located on the lens barrel.
Aspherical elements (ASPH, XA) minimize spherical aberration, astigmatism, coma and ensure excellent sharpness and contrast even at maximum aperture.
Low dispersion elements (AD, ED, LD, HLD, SD, UD etc) and fluorite elements minimize chromatic aberrations and ensure excellent sharpness and contrast even at maximum aperture.
Due to the prominent convex profile of the front element the lens does not have a filter thread.
The lens is not equipped with CPU therefore it does not transmit any data to the camera.
